SOCIETY FOR DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT(SDCE)

SDCE is a Non-Governmental Organization  with a Special Consultative Status of the United Nations Economic & Social Council (UN ECOSOC 2011) and UNFCCC  Observer Organisation

FOUNDING DATE:
3rd June, 2002.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
Mr. Kayode Olufemi Adedoye is a graduate of Chemistry of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.  As an administrator, technical instructor, teacher, safety professional, volunteer, life educator and social worker, he has made positive impacts on issues relating to drug abuse, child and reproductive health, sexuality, sex work, HIV/AIDS, emergency and first aid, welfare of Seniors and crime control.  He runs a 24-hours - consultancy service and enjoys a membership of several International and National Associations. 

SDCE has 5 board of trustees members and 25 ordinary members; a maximum of seven paid staff are maintained at the head office for programme co-ordination. The rest of SDCE workers [presently over hundred] are volunteers, and most of these are qualified personnel.
